Fontana man arrested for child pornography

Fontana police served a search warrant and arrested the 55-year-old occupant of a home in the city of Fontana on suspicion of distribution of child pornography over the internet, according to a police news release. Detectives from the police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force discovered that Lyn Wayne Massicot was distributing the pornography from his home, the news release stated. A search of his electronic storage devices found child pornography and confirmed his distribution over the internet, police said. Massicot was arrested Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of possession and sales of obscene materials involving minors, according to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s jail records. Bail was set at $25,000. He remained in custody Wednesday evening at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga. The initial hearing was held the following Monday where the suspect pleaded not guilty to all of the charges. The regular trial is set to take place later on this year.
